Prevalence and characteristics of metabolic syndrome among hypertensive patients attending a tertiary hospital in Kano, Nigeria

Abstract: Hypertension is the most common and important cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factor, frequently clustering with other risk factors to increase cardiovascular disease morbidity and mortality.
