“…In this study, between 60 and 70% of women received the advice to consume five daily portions of fruits and vegetables, decrease the intake of unhealthy fats, increase physical activity, maintain a healthy weight. These findings were similarly observed in other studies ( 24 , 25 ). The reason for the gender-based difference in prevalence may be because women are more interested in healthcare-related information, even though men usually have more risk factors associated with NCD ( 26 , 27 ), data corroborated in our previous study in this population ( 20 ).…”

“…Thus, for prevention purposes, there is a need to promote healthy habits associated with the diet and with other aspects of the lifestyle from the early stages of life, focusing on the health education of children and adolescents ( 30 ). Similar results were found by Zwald et al ( 25 ), where only 30% of the younger subjects received advice to increase physical activity in contrast with 60% to 70% of older subjects, with even greater chances of receiving a health advice if the person presented a NCD.…”

Individuals with prolonged health problems acknowledged caretakers' guidance more than other adults in the U.S., but they did not obtain physical exercise guidance for good health [50]. The COVID-19 epidemic protection urged people to increase their online social presence to enhance public emotions for epidemic protection.…”

“…In addition, while the proportion of people with high LTPA was only about 40%, this was substantially lower among those who were hypertensive compared to people who were not hypertensive, 32% and 46%, respectively (Table 1). Insufficient knowledge regarding the recommended level of PA was reported previously [27], therefore, interventions have to be directed for people who may have lower LTPA [28,29], higher risk of future diseases [12,30], and also lack of knowledge about PA [27]. As part of our analyses, we investigated the unadjusted relationships of LTPA with the study variables among overall study people (Supplemental Table 1) and people with hypertension (Table 3); most of these variables also had association with general health.…”
