Abstract: Background: Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) are associated with placental insufficiency and adverse perinatal outcomes—over half (58.9%) of women with HDP at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital (MRRH) have adverse perinatal outcomes.
