Abstract:The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence, antimicrobial susceptibility patterns and associated risk factors of vancomycin-resistant enterococci among patients upon admission. One hundred and seventeen samples from newly admitted patients at University of Benin Teaching Hospital were screened.
