Abstract:Background Dermatomyositis (DM) is an idiopathic immune-mediated myopathy, and may involve many organs, including muscles, skin and lungs. Myositis-specific autoantibodies (MSAs) are a useful aid in diagnosis DM and identifying its clinical subtype.
