Prevalence of Gingival Recession and its Relationship to Past Orthodontic Treatment in Nepalese Young Adults

Abstract: The data suggests that gingival recession is universal and is a common manifestation in most populations.However, representative information is limited regarding the occurrence and risk factors of gingival recession. 12Prevalence varies from 3-100% depending on the population and the methods of analysis; 13 which appears to be lower in younger age groups.
