Abstract:This study investigates the prevalence of Trypanosoma cruzi infection among solid organ transplant recipients in the United States from 2019 to 2023 before transplantation. Utilizing data from a large multicenter network, we identified a rising seroprevalence of 4.8% from 1523 Solid Organ Transplant Recipients at the time of the evaluation for transplantation, particularly among lung and heart transplant recipients.
