“…A total of 14 studies provided data relating to univariate analysis ( 7 11 , 15 , 18 , 20 , 22 25 , 29 , 33 ) and 25 studies provided data relating to multivariate analysis ( 6 14 , 16 21 , 24 , 26 34 ). In Singapore, Korea, Brazil, and Taiwan, the health care seeking prevalence was even lower 5,[16][17][18] .…”

“…During the past decade, LUTS prevalence remarkably increased from 18.4% in 2008 to 45.8% in 2018, comprising up to 2.3 billion individuals worldwide 10 . Although the increasing LUTS prevalence has gained global attention, health care seeking behaviors remain low 5,11 . The health care seeking behavior is defined as “any activity undertaken by individuals who perceived themselves to have a health problem or to be ill to find an appropriate remedy,” which initially originated from the “illness behavior.” 12 The main essence of health care seeking behavior was not disease prevention during the asymptomatic phase but rather searching for a cure.…”

The prevalence of two or more episodes was 23.2%, 28.8%, and 34%, respectively.…”
