“…There is also an association between crowding index and infectious diseases (P-value is 0.05), as the majority of IDPs in this study were living with a household crowding index of more than two persons per room (81.7%). The higher rate of skin infections in crowded houses in this study accords with the findings in a population based study in Erbil (11), Basrah (16), and in Egypt ( 8), as overcrowding encourages the spread of infectious agents.
