Prevalence of Staphylococcus aurues carriage in patients with chronic kidney disease: A preliminary cross-sectional study of outpatients at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka

Abstract: Objectives: To compare carriage rates of Staphylococcus aureus in patients with and without chronic kidney disease (CKD) and identify associated factors. Results: We enrolled 64 CKD (A-1 = 13, A-2 = 17, A-3 = 34) and 56 non-CKD controls (B).
