Abstract:Introduction:
The study aimed to estimate the prevalence of Type 2 DM and associated risk factors in urban slums.
Materials and Methods:
A cross-sectional study was done in the urban slum of the city involving adults aged >18 years. A sample of 300 participants was selected by systematic random sampling. Consent was taken and data were collected using pre-structured questionnaire. The data were entered in Excel and analysed using SPSS.
