Abstract: Background: Pneumatized air cells present in the zygomatic process of the temporal bone are termed Zygomatic Air Cell Defects (ZACDs). They are merely the extensions of the mastoid air cells anteriorly into the zygomatic process of the temporal bone which are important for surgical perspective.
