Abstract: The authors studied the problem of naphthenate deposits in the oil and gas industry. Currently, there are few ways available to inhibit or dissolve naphthenate deposits in oil facilities. Naphthenate deposits can block pipelines and aggregate in other parts of the installation, i.e., in the separators.
