Prevention of incisional surgical site infection by subfascial closed suction drainage after open laparotomy

Abstract: Background: Open laparotomy with gastroenterological surgery is a surgical procedure results in a relatively high rate (about 10% or more) of incisional surgical site infection (SSI).
