Abstract:Many studies have indicated that tumor growth factor‐beta (TGF‐β) signaling mediates radiation‐induced bystander effects (RIBEs). The primary cilium (PC) coordinates several signaling pathways including TGF‐β signaling to regulate diverse cellular processes. But whether the PC participates in TGF‐β induced RIBEs remains unclear. The cellular levels of TGF‐β1 were detected by western blot analysis and the secretion of TGF‐β1 was measured by ELISA kit. The ciliogenesis was altered by CytoD treatment, STIL siRNA … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
