Abstract:This article reports an elderly male patient with nodules and ulcers on the face and behind the left ear after trauma. Primary cutaneous cryptococcosis was confirmed using pathological biopsy, special staining, tissue culture, and fungal sequencing. The patient received a therapeutic intervention involving the administration of the antifungal agent itraconazole.
