Primary leiomyosarcoma of the greater omentum

Abstract: Leiomyosarcoma is a rare tumor that originates in the smooth muscle. The omentum has been rarely reported as a primary of occurrence with leiomyosarcoma. A 58-year-old woman presented with abdominal distension and palpable pelvic mass. Abdominal computed tomography scan showed 32×27×16 cm-sized heterogeneous enhancing mass in the pelvic and abdominal cavity.
