Abstract:The authors report the third case of primary orbital melanoma in an African American. A 50-year-old black man presented with 1 year of progressive vision loss and swelling of the right lacrimal gland. His presentation, imaging, biopsy, histopathology, and management are presented and the poor prognosis of primary orbital melanoma reviewed.
