Primary Retroperitoneal Müllerian Adenocarcinoma: A Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract: Primary retroperitoneal müllerian adenocarcinoma (PRMA) is an extremely rare clinical entity. We report the case of a 54-year-old woman who presented with a mass in the right lower retroperitoneum, identified during an ultrasound exam. Computed tomography confirmed a retroperitoneal mass measuring 11 cm. The patient underwent laparotomy and the mass was completely excised. The histopathological exam revealed PRMA.
