Primary squamous cell carcinoma of the prostate

Abstract: Background: Primary squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is an uncommon tumor of the prostate gland. A 65-year old man complained of obstructive symptoms. Methods/Results: Transrectal palpation and diagnostic imaging indicated an ordinary adenocarcinoma, although serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) was normal.
