Primary therapy of malignant melanomas: sentinel lymphadenectomy

Abstract: gamma-Probe-guided SLNE is a reliable procedure with minimal complications that should be performed in all pT3 + 4 (intraoperative frozen section histology) melanomas without clinically evident metastases.
