Principles of rehabilitation for common chronic neurologic diseases in the elderly

Abstract: a b s t r a c tRehabilitation plays a crucial role for elderly people with chronic neurologic diseases. The purpose of rehabilitation serves to restore capabilities and postpone dysfunction as the diseases progress. Comorbidities are common among older people, and, therefore, the rehabilitation approaches and outcomes for them may be different from the young population.
