The prevalence of food allergies has increased the last 20 years and affects 4%-7% of primary school children. 1 Anaphylaxis, the most severe form of allergy, has also become more common. 2 We estimate that 10%-20% of anaphylaxis occur in schools. 1,2 When anaphylaxis is suspected, using adrenaline auto-injector is the first-line treatment. 2 In France, individual healthcare plans for children with food allergy were legislated in 2003. 1 This plan includes an emergency protocol, which specifies the use of adrenaline auto-injector and other medications by school staff. 2 National education doctors play a key role in the practical implementation of this plan. 3 Regrettably, due to medical demographic inequalities, a practical training for school personnel is not systematic. Teachers feel uncomfortable about managing anaphylaxis at school, often because of lack of knowledge and practical skills. 4 Several studies proved that training enhance teachers' skills to manage anaphylaxis. 5 This study aimed to assess the impact of a video training program on the anaphylaxis related knowledge and skills among primary school teachers' in the French department of Manche.
