PRISMA-S: an extension to the PRISMA Statement for Reporting Literature Searches in Systematic Reviews

Abstract: Background Literature searches underlie the foundations of systematic reviews and related review types. Yet, the literature searching component of systematic reviews and related review types is often poorly reported.
