Probability of Inadmissible Estimates of Heritability from Regression and Half‐sib Analyses

Abstract: XummatyFormulae are derived for the probability of obtaining inadmiaaible eetimates of heritability (A3 in half-sib and intra-sire regreesion analyses, under the additivsdominance-epietesis model of gene action. Reaulta for several combinations of sireldam number, h? and the proportion 6f additive I : additive epieteeis am given for the balanced eituation.
