Probationary citizenship in science, technology, engineering and mathematics in an Irish university: A disrupted patriarchal bargain?

Abstract: The model for the creation of knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) involves the near total career dependence by probationary citizens on senior academics.
