Abstract:The aim of this study was to evaluate a new
Bacillus
amyloliquefaciens
B-1895 probiotic as a feed additive for farmed
trout. Final weight, absolute and average daily gain of fish, and average daily
growth rate were higher in the group that received the probiotic than in the
control group (p<0.05). Moreover, the probiotic-fed trout had more
intense growth rates than the control group (higher by 15.7%; p<0.05). A
