Problem of data interpretation of laser polarization sensing of high-level clouds on the basis of theoretically calculated phase matrices of backscattering by monodisperse ice crystals
Abstract:Abstract.A technique for determining the microstructure parameters of high-level clouds on the basis of joint analysis of experimental and theoretical data is described. Results of the experiments on atmosphere laser sensing and theoretical calculations of light scattering by spatially oriented ice crystals are shown.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
