The most dangerous moment in the care of a patient in a serious condition is his transport. This applies to interhospital transport (ground and air) as well as intra-hospital transport. For the transport of the patient should be available the team of personnel, who can cope well with unpredictable situations and can quickly react to the changing condition of the patient. Transportation of a person in a life-threatening condition should not be carried out by accidental persons. Ideally, it should be the staff caring for the patient, because they know the patient and know how to react to the changing clinical condition. This applies to the in-hospital phase - diagnostics, transfer to the operating block, transfer to the ICU. Interhospital transport is performed by external personnel who do not know the patient, so it is important to provide accurate information about the patient not only by the referring physician, but also by the nursing staff and/or paramedics.
