Abstract: and Friday, December 27th and 28th, 1900, in affiliation with the American Society of Naturalists. The President of the Association, Professor Joseph Jastrow, presided at the meeting, at the various sessions of which there were thirty members in attendance. By 1900, the membership of the APA had increased to 126, but only 30 people attended the meeting (Farrand, 1901). The membership continued to grow at a relatively constant rate until 1925, but then the size of the organization began to increase at an exponential rate (Bulatao, Fulcher, & Evans, 1992).…”
