Abstract:Aim: Facial reconstruction is a method that estimates the face shape of the unidentified person using clay and similar material in cases where only the skull is present. Due to natural events and animals, the integrity of the skeletal remains can be disrupted and this makes identification hard. The aim of the study is to estimate the skull shape by reference to the mastoid process in case of fragmentation of the skull at the scene.
