Abstract: ΙntroductionThe extensive commentary -basically the systematic treatise -of the Neoplatonist philosopher Proclus (412-485) In Platonis Timaeum (Εἰς τὸν Τίμαιον Πλάτωνος) is perhaps the supreme attempt at the systematic formulation of ancient Greek cosmology.
