Abstract:Purpose: Proctitis distal to colorectal anastomosis is rare and infrequently reported. We evaluated the incidence, symptoms, treatment, and potential risk factors associated with this condition.Methods: We conducted a retrospective population-based cohort study in Västmanland County, Sweden.
