Abstract:A new type of powder wire mesh composite porous plate (PWMCPP) is successfully fabricated by the composite rolling and solid‐state sintering of stainless steel powder and wire mesh. Tensile tests are carried out, and the microstructure and fracture morphology are observed. The results show that the tensile strength of the PWMCPP decrease first and then increase with increasing mesh volume fraction and mesh diameter and increase with increasing sintering temperature. It is found that when the mesh volume fracti… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
