Production Efficiency of Nodal and Zonal Pricing in Imperfectly Competitive Electricity Markets

Abstract: Electricity markets employ different congestion management methods to handle the limited transmission capacity of the power system. This paper compares production efficiency and other aspects of nodal and zonal pricing.
