Abstract:Lignocellulosic and waste from the food industry offers a sustainable way to produce alternative transportation fuel and provide fiber and biomaterial. Thermochemical processes can depolymerize lignin into its phenolic monomers which can be upgraded to aromatic hydrocarbons.
