“…3 and 4 for the 40 Ca+ 208 Pb and 58 Ni+ 208 Pb reactions can be removed if one excludes contributions from small impact parameters, where the onset of mass equilibration process through a thick-neck formation and its breaking is observed [46]. However, all figures in the present paper 24 (-5p; P) 16 show cross sections obtained by integration over the full impact-parameter range, avoiding any ad hoc manipulation of the obtained results.…”

“…However, there exist discrepancies between the TDHF results and the experimental data. Namely, 24 (-5p; P) 16 latter originated from trajectories at small impact parameters accompanying large energy losses, where dynamics of a thick-neck formation and its breaking is responsible for the amount of nucleon transfer (see Ref. [46] for a detailed discussion).…”

“…There are a bunch of models developed so far for the MNT study, such as the semi-classical model, like GRAZING [122,[205][206][207][208][209][210] or CWKB [117][118][119]211], the dinuclear system (DNS) model [212][213][214][215][216][217][218][219][220][221][222][223][224][225][226], the improved quantum molecular dynamics (ImQMD) model [227][228][229][230], and the Langevin model [131-140, 231, 232]. There are pros and cons in those approaches.…”

“…In Fig. 1, the calculated yields of heavy neutron-rich nuclei in the transfer reaction 176 Yb+ 238 U are shown [93]. The de-excitation process of primary fragments are treated with the GEM-INI code [94].…”
