“…Although there are some disadvantages to this method, such as high pollution and no modernization, the Cohn process is universal and practical for use by pharmacological and medical industries. There are more than 10 process variations but only 2 main processes, the original Cohn process and the Kistler and Nitschmann variation, are commonly used (Matejtschuk et al, 2000).
