“…Os resultados obtidos para o ATR, corroboram àqueles obtidos por Franco et al (2010) que, avaliando o comportamento da cana-planta à adubação nitrogenada de plantio também verificaram redução (5,3%) no ATR da cana-de-açúcar da dose de nitrogênio de 80 kg ha -1 para a dose 120 kg ha -1 . Vieira et al (2012), estudando a produtividade de colmos e de rendimento de açúcares da cana-de-açúcar submetida a diferentes lâminas de água, constataram que o maior rendimento de açúcares 141,3 kg por tonelada de colmos foi obtido com a lâmina de 1.617,7 mm, onde a partir desta lâmina, o teor de açúcares foi reduzido, devido à maior quantidade de água que estava disponível para a cultura, concordando com Oliveira et al (2012) os quais afirmam que o excesso de água e/ou nitrogênio está associado com o maior crescimento vegetativo da planta, correlacionando-se positivamente com o teor de umidade e negativamente com a acumulação de açúcares. Os valores de ATR encontrados no presente trabalho são superiores àqueles constatados por que foram de 147 kg Mg -1 .…”
