Professionalism and clinical excellence among anesthesiology residents

Abstract: The results expose a pattern of performance associated with unprofessional behavior, and suggest that clinical excellence and unprofessional behavior rarely coexist.

Rhoton [14] published a report of 71 anesthesiology residents and found that 15 (21%) had received comments about unprofessional behaviors.
