Profil Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Ditinjau Dari Kecemasan Matematika Siswa SMK

Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of critical thinking skills in terms of mathematics anxiety in pharmacy vocational high school students. The subjects used were 33 students of class XII Pharmacy Bhumi Husada. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The instrument in this study used a mathematical anxiety questionnaire, critical thinking ability test, and interview guidelines. The results showed that (1) students with high math anxiety met the critical thinking indicators of interpretation in good category (80%) and analysis in fair category (75%);(2) students with moderate anxiety met the indicators of mathematical critical thinking skills: interpretation in fair category (70%), analysis indicators in good category (80%), evaluation fair category (70%), and inference in fair category (65%); and (3) students with low anxiety were able to fulfill critical thinking skills, interpretation indicators in very good category (95%), analysis in good category (85%), and evaluation in very good category (90%).
