Prognostic microRNAs associated with phosphoserine aminotransferase 1 in gastric cancer as markers of bone metastasis

Abstract: This study analyzed PSAT1-targeted miRNAs as a prognostic predictor for gastric cancer. The relationship between the clinical manifestations of gastric cancer in patients and phosphoserine aminotransferase 1 (PSAT1) was analyzed using correlation analysis. PSAT1 was highly expressed in gastric cancer, and its low expression was associated with a poor prognosis. By pan-cancer analysis, PSAT1 could affect the tumor immune microenvironment by immune infiltration analysis. Nine microRNAs targeting PSAT1 and associ… Show more

“…ANXA2 was included in a prognostic model containing 10 genes for gastric cancer [ 43 ]. MiR-1-3p were also absorbed in a model containing six miRNAs for bone metastasis prediction of gastric cancer [ 44 ]. Since detailed survival analyzes are often restricted by insufficient information collected in follow-up studies, the prognosis efficacy of the miRNA-mRNA axes needs to be further measured.…”

“…Studies have found that photosensitive aminotransferase 1 (PSAT1) is a target gene for hsa-miR-218-5p and hsa-miR-145-5p, which can be used to predict bone metastasis in gastric cancer [17]. Frørup et al discovered that extracellular vesicles, particularly those enriched in the plasma exosomes of lactating mothers with Type 1 diabetes, contained abnormal levels of hsa-miR-30d-5p post-delivery [18].…”
