Abstract: Objectives: Patients with advanced stage colorectal carcinoma (CRC) display hepatic metastases on initial staging in up to 20% of cases. The effectiveness of chemotherapy is generally evaluated by computed tomography (CT) imaging using standardized criteria (RECIST).
