The prognostic value of Albumin and D-dimer has been established for multiple tumor types, indicating their potential for predicting tumor development. Nevertheless, the predictive capability of the DDI-to-albumin ratio (DAR) in locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC) remains uncertain.
