Programmable electromagnetic pulse shaping

Abstract: This paper provides an overview of reprogrammable arbitrary-waveform generation (electromagnetic pulse shaping) enabled by optical pulse shaping technology. Here, generation of wideband millimeter-wave signals, ultra-broadband radiofrequency and microwave waveforms, as well as tunable continuous-wave microwave tones are discussed.
