Programmable plasma structure generated by the laser-plasma interaction

Abstract

Synopsis The programmable plasma structure generated by the laser-plasma interaction is discussed theoretically. The multiple plasma density distribution patterns which includes single channel, double channel and slow-wave plasma structure is achieved by modulating the ponderomotive force controlled by the laser’s beam profile and pulse width.
