“…Gliomas are tumors that initiate from precursor or glial cells and include astrocytoma (including glioblastoma), oligodendroglioma, ependymoma, oligoastrocytoma (mixed glioma) and malignant glioma and account for about 25.5% of all primary brain and other central nervous system tumors and 80.8% of malignant tumors [1]. The current clinical treatment of glioma includes surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy; however, the prognosis of glioma remains unfavorable with a high recurrence rate after initial treatment [2].
