Proliferative Enteropathy Involving Lawsonia intracellularis Infection in Rabbits (Oryctlagus cuniculus)

Abstract: ABSTRACT. Five rabbits suffering from diarrhea were diagnosed with proliferative enteropathy (PE). Histopathology revealed a thickened mucosa consisting of hyperplastic intestinal epithelium and infiltration of inflammatory cells mainly consisted of macrophages.
