“…The color of the WR seemed yellow, which shifted to a deep reddish brown concerning the biosynthesis of bimetallic Se-Ag NPs. The produced color was assigned to the stimulation of biogenic Se-Ag NPs’ surface plasmon resonance and provided a specific wavelength of their appearance [ 40 ]. The capacity of WR filtrate to produce bimetallic Se-Ag NPs was evaluated.…”

“…The anisotropic form and partial stability of the NPs in our work are caused by using of reducing and capping agents (WR extract). Finally, the outcomes were connected to the most recent publications [ 40 ]. Bimetallic Se-Ag NPs were subjected to DLS analysis in order to assess the particle size distribution and determine the average particle size, which was determined to be 47.3 nm ( Figure 2 d).…”

“…These nanoparticles exhibited noteworthy antibacterial properties against MDR E. coli and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains ( Lomelí-Marroquín et al, 2019 ). Furthermore, bimetallic silver–selenium nanoparticles were biosynthesized in a green manner using Orobanche aegyptiaca extract; these nanoparticles showed superior antimicrobial and antibiofilm activity against Staphylococcus aureus , P. aeruginosa , and Candida albicans ( Mostafa et al, 2023 ). Furthermore, pomegranate peel extract was used for the biosynthesis of bimetallic silver/zinc oxide nanoparticles that exhibited antimicrobial activity against E. coli , P. aeruginosa , B. subtilis , Staphylococcus aureus , Escherichia faecalis , Candida albicans, Cryptococcus neoformans, Aspergillus fumigatus , and A. brasiliensis ( Hashem and El-Sayyad, 2023 ).…”

“…Recently, many researchers proposed Ag-based NPs synthesized using enzymes, microorganisms, or plant extracts [12][13][14]. In fact, there are many easy and green protocols for synthesizing AgNPs from natural constituents; however, these methods have limited applications as the NPs can only be only prepared in the solution phase [15,16].…”
