Abstract:Tetrafluoromethane (CF 4 ), as a typical perfluorocarbon (PFC), has a remarkable global warming potential (GWP) of 7390 and an ultralong lifetime of 50 000 years, making its effective treatment crucial for mitigating environmental impact. Catalytic hydrolysis is a promising way for its effective decomposition, in which Al-based materials have been widely used as efficient catalysts. However, the deficiency of strong Lewis acidic-tricoordinated Al (Al III ) sites strongly limits their catalytic performance. In … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
